As part of my studies in illustration, I am asked to make the complete design of a music album, in terms of advertising illustration and starting from a narrative. I had to select 3 songs of the chosen artist,in this case, Griff, design the packaging of the CD, as well as the libretto and other graphics.

Note: this project is fictional and unofficial.

The work had to revolve around a concept that was not obviously related to the artist or to her songs. Thus, I came to the idea:

Ripping Stitches​​​​​​​

Griff is passionate about sewing and clothing in her spare time. From there, I wanted to play with the English expression "Ripping Stitches" which means both breaking stitches (literally) and opening wounds (metaphorically).

Taking advantage that in his work was also something present. Thus the narrative is articulated as an emotional process, in a summarized way, in three parts: 

mourning, 

transformation 

and healing.
